Six weeks?marksi wrote:Peter Robinson has stood down as First Minister for 6 weeks and nominated a Deputising First Minister - Arlene Foster.
So we now have a Deputising First Minister and a Deputy First Minister.
Do you think he's already got his decree nisi?
Six weeks and one day later and he can have a decree absolute, and finally dump this holier-than-thou, child molesting whore.
BBC News:
Don't forget Panorama is tonight at 8.30 on BBC ONE.
There's some irony that it was us gayers who she claimed needed psychiatric help. The Northern Ireland first minister's wife is receiving "acute psychiatric treatment" as the furore about her private life and finances continues.

You sound just like a television announcer!marksi wrote:Don't forget Panorama is tonight at 8.30 on BBC ONE.
Is it a repeat of Spotlight or has it got new material included?
I think (but don't know) that it's an edit of Spotlight with just some updates.Nick Harvey wrote:You sound just like a television announcer!marksi wrote:Don't forget Panorama is tonight at 8.30 on BBC ONE.

The BBC Programmes page for the programme mentions Vine as presenter and Corbin as reporter. I'd expect portions of Spotlight to be used, but on the whole a significant re-edit with new content added.

Typical, UTV are bragging on one of their Tweets about how they - apparently - got more ratings on Live at Six than Newsline on Friday (UTV claim 333,000 on a 45% share compared with a 32% audience share) - neglecting to let us know the exact ratings figures for Newsline so we can't tell how much they are bending the truth.
Even though I can't compare now with Friday night's edition of Newsline, how the hell can having the repugnant Sharon O'Neill blether on over VT shots of the Robinsons from the UTV archives for far too long than necessary, Niall Donnelly being lumbered with reeling off the First-Minister-in-hiding's slags against Spotlight and crawling Ken Reid talking to him - which in older times would have led this part of the news agenda - almost 15 minutes into the programme? They even had another work experience girl reporting on the Antrim crash as the lead story.
I would love to have seen the Havoc House lot make a documentary of the calibre of Spotlight these days. Actually, I would love to see the Havoc House lot make an actual television programme these days.

The link to the proper Spotlight programme is still valid for a few days if you can't stomach Vine SHOUTING AT THE FLY-BY CAMERA WHILE HE FREEZES HIS POOR KNACKERS OUTSIDE WHITE CITY topping and tailing the show in half an hour. The BBC Programmes page for the programme mentions Vine as presenter and Corbin as reporter. I think the line on UTV Live tonight that the police officer badly injured on Friday morning was "gunned down" when in fact he was the victim of an explosion is an example of how things are going there. We also had no less than three lumps of "what you've said on our website" in tonight's programme.

Why do I see Ann Widdicombe when I look at this picture?
