Good morning forumers,

To help celebrate this, the most wonderful time of the year, when we celebrate the birth of our lord and saviour Simon Cowell, I, Maggie_Mash, Queen of Continuity, have decided to write a sentence with far too many commas.

However in addition to that I'm offering you lucky forumers the chance to have your own Christmas greetings read in that way I made famous.

Simply tweet your greet to @maggie_mash and you can have your thoughts read to the whole of the region.

And remember, my old pal Bruce Gyngell didn't like the smut, and neither do I, so be nice dearies.

Premature, but I probably won't be on for a while. Families - who'd have 'em?

Just to wish everyone on here a very happy and peaceful Christmas - wherever you are in the world.

Christ, I think that's about the first sincere thing I've posted on here in 3 plus years! Normal service resumes after Christmas.

Hopefully 2010 won't be in the Credit Crunch and we'll see a bit more help from out Government!

Well it's just turned Christmas Eve, and while snow may not be actually falling here on the north Down coast, it's pretty damned white and frosty outside.

Happy Christmas to everyone here, and in particular to Gavin and Petey for their general fabness in keeping this place going, and to Sputty for his wonderfulness in background coding of Stuff and selection of Indian restaurants.

I hope Santa brings you all everything you want. x
