Re: The Unofficial Sainsbury's Thread
They're fitting out a new Sainsbury's Local between Shoreditch and Liverpool St, or at least I think it should be a Local as it seems to have no depth, but the signs in the windows so far are suggesting it's just "Sainsbury's". Possible phasing out of the Local brand? It did make me wonde...

I believe this is to allow the introduction of esels - at the moment the use of Nectar purple on the ticket itself is a blocker.scottishtv wrote: ↑Mon 17 Jun, 2024 13.23 Was asked about potential new 'Nectar Price' SEL designs in a survey:

So glad it's nearly over (both the government and the campaign). It's been such a drag.

The 4music thread is Pres Café at its absolute best, loving the memories and content. Great stuff.

Re: There an election this year.....
The reform supporters on social media are some of the strangest people. I've actually been blocked by either the local reform candidate or party on Facebook. My crime? Responding to their posts on local fb groups (which I'm a longer term member of) with mildly challenging questions and their polici...

Re: There an election this year.....
Most of the posters where my sister lives are for either Lee Anderson or Jason Zadrozny. So they're choosing either a racist or a scandal ridden man on trial for fraud. If you measured the average IQ there it would probably be a negative number. I know a lot of people are fed up with the major part...

Re: The Tesco & other non-Morrisons supermarket thread
It can only really end badly. I'm thinking empty aisles in some stores with massive bulk quantities of random items in others.
Tragic what those lads have done to Asda.

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
So as predicted, most Currys stores are now absorbing PC World and taking on a very simple but nice brand. It was pointless to have both running side by side with so much product crossover. http://www.soultsretailview.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/currys_pcworld_northumberland_street_graham_soul...

Re: Old supermarket signage
Not exactly 'old signage', but one thing that always seem to avoid rebrands are lorries. I mean, the amount of green Co-op lorries and Morrisons lorries I've seen sporting the old logos quite recently is quite unbelievable, since both of those supermarkets updated their branding in 2016 - eight yea...

Re: Another High Street Rebrand
the new Asda design made me wonder what happened to the old "Permanently Low Prices Forever" stones that used to sit by the entrances, and it appears I'm not the only person to have thought that. He located a couple, but then the trail seems to have gone cold: https://loststonesofasda.wor...
