Shops with excessive tannoy announcements

Popped in B&M over the Christmas holidays and in the time it took me to find and buy 3 items from the DIY aisle I counted 16 store announcement, it was almost constant, more than you get at Kings Cross!

it's odd because they don't really sell any particularly high value items, it mystifies me what ...

Re: How was Your Christmas Day?

I love Christmas too, I'd say though it starts too early these days and that takes the fun and magic out of it

I remember growing up in the 1980s, my mum and dad wouldn't put the Christmas tree up until the weekend school ended (typically around 20th December). This year, there were some people ...

Re: Queen Elizabeth II

Do you think we'll ever find out when she actually died? it's interesting, reading on pres.cafe, and also the BBC journalist Yalda Hakim announcing she had died several hours before it was announced, it seemed given the rolling coverage a lot more was known by a few behind the scenes.

It was ...

Re: Web design thread

I've looked after quite a few different websites for various organisations over the years, both professionally and personally.

I would say that there is definitely a place for things like Webflow, square space and wix, for me, the best solution, although it is at times a bit clucky and definitely ...

I don't know if you've done anything, but it's working now!!! thanks if you have!

Was going to have a look this morning, but don't need to now!!

interestingly, I think the problem was caused by the Limit IP Address Tracking feature built into MacOS.

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

anybody having difficulty accessing the forum from Safari on MacOS 12.4?

for me it just spins loading these two javascript libraries. on iPhone iOS 15.5 I seem to get the issue, although somewhat intermittently.

Re: TV Live Forum Watch News and Information Board

The biggest problem here appears to be that all the password reset emails either go in your spam folder or are simply rejected by your ISP.

There’s no spf record in dns for the tvliveforum.com domain which I suspect is the root cause of the problem - it was delivered for me as I have all spam ...

Re: The ecomob

I think most fair minded people would agree that we need to move away from fossil fuels and invest in renewable technology, and even nuclear energy - and as far as electric cars go, I'd buy one tomorrow if I could get a similar featured car for the same price as a dinosaur juice car - but not only ...

Re: The ecomob

That's my view, and that guy on the radio gluing his hand to the microphone just sounds like a sanctimonious twat.

I've listened to loads of TED talks on the subject - just 5 minutes of those is more knowledge, common sense and balance than I've ever heard from any activist speaking about climate ...

I can't help but think most climate protesters are unemployed students that are just as thick as pig shit with no skills or talents whatever

Are you OK?
