My local store has now enabled SmartShop on all self-checkouts, not just the specially designed ones. Not sure if it's designed for those with the handheld scanners or just those with phones?

I've finally updated my Nectar for online use and on the app for the digital card. Is the smaller reader on the staffed checkouts with two lights on the front to read the barcode from smartphones? Also if you store your Nectar offers in Sainsbury's on the app, do you have to use the digital card to ...

He writes these long posts where he seems to make out he knows what he's on about but it largely seems to be stuff he's read on TV Forum reworded into endless, repeating posts. You'd almost think he used to work in TV but I don't think he has and he's just making assumption...

Also worth noting that many of the CAA chartered flights have been crewed by former Thomas Cook staff who have worked for free to get passengers home.

The reality of the Thomas Cook repatriation was all too apparent for friends who returned late last night. And just after 2am, Thomas Cook went into administration. Ironically, TC's social media jockeys were still working until midnight reassuring customers that it'd be business as usual tomorrow.
