Re: The TSB & Lloyds Bank relaunch news and information board
I'm sure everyone has seen by now that Santander are buying TSB, but feel like it ought to be mentioned here in the thread of record.
That's certainly going to be more closures of physical banks where TSB and Santander have branches in the same towns. TSB will certainly go in Peckham anyway as ...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
It’ll be interesting to see what eventually happens to own brand stock that they sell both on the high street and travel locations such as stationery, will it remain similar, or will one half of the former business launch a completely new range
WHSmith already provide stationary for the ...

Re: High Street chain collapse sweepstake
We have an idea of what Gordon Brothers plan to do with Poundland.
Reduce physical stores to 650.
Axe online sales.
Perks is also going.
Reducing chilled lines and essentials such as milk.
Scrap frozen food which also means the frozen and digital distribution centre in Darton will close.

This launch is the latest in a long-term collaboration between Visa and NatWest Group to offer customers access to Visa’s debit and credit cards to help them manage their spending with greater ease, security, flexibility ...

Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread
Are you sure the new card is Mastercard?
AIUI the Mastercard rollout has been stopped and card renewals are being sent with the same symbol as the expiring one. New customers are receiving a mix of Visa and Mastercard, partially dependent on which sort code they're allocated to.
That's a good ...

Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread
NatWest are finally giving me a Mastercard debit card after I got a notification on the app saying it's being sent shortly. There's still a few months left on the card to go, but they must be updating them for those of us who got Visa issued in 2022 a little bit earlier.
