Whereas my local Tesco is flush with new trollies introduced in time for a recent Scan as you Shop upgrade.
Indeed, my nearest Sainsbury's and Morrisons seem to have an abundance of trollies, if the latter are a bit worse for wear.

Re: There an election this year.....
I’d be amazed if it’s anything other than a healthy Labour majority. I don’t really buy the whole argument about too big a swing needed etc - the mood of the country is pretty clearly against the Tories right now I believe that the idea a large swing would be required is based on old data and is no...

Re: There an election this year.....
I don't think that we will have a Conservative Government, come the 4th of July I'm not sure what course of events could cause there not to still be one up to and including the morning of the 5th. Through a huge coincidence, everyone in the nation forgets to vote, except one voter in Newcastle who ...

It was quite surreal to hear it playing in the shop when I'd seen nothing about the song being produced.

Re: Yet another Morrisons thread
I noticed during my most recent visit that quite a few drinks items were on clearance. I wonder if their range is also being reduced?

Re: There an election this year.....
People definitely want change - in all parts of the UK. The question is do they want that change to be to a Labour majority government? I don't think that is a nailed down certainty yet. I wondered what the bookmakers' odds were for a Labour majority at the next election - it's between 1/8 and 1/12...

Indeed, it doesn't feel like the sort of election that will produce a bog standard result.

Re: The Barclays and other non-Lloyds/TSB Bank thread
Though they have introduced the ability to pay via open banking (a feature available elsewhere for quite a while now) as a replacement.
