Also Pay at Pump has no obvious contactless hardware.
My new Clubcard arrived today and it mentioned in the leaflet that tapping and scanning at some Pay at Pumps won't be available until later in 2017, so the machines must be getting a hardware upgrade.
No idea if that'll bring Contactless ...

First post here, so hello. My local Co-op had a full internal refit just under a month ago, and they've been back to amend the frontage. Sadly, it's a hideous halfway house.

One that springs to mind around these parts is Scotmid (Scottish Midland) Co-operative. Largely separate from The Co-operative Group but still connected in some way. 350 stores across Scotland, NI and the north of England according to their website.

In my experience, if a chip can't be detected, there are capabilities for it to be put through manually using 'the old-fashioned' way. That includes on the Self Service tills. Whether it's actually done or not I'm not sure.

On the subject of RBS, my branch in Edinburgh has new signage sporting a new logo. The arrows remain but 'RBS' has been replaced with 'Royal Bank of Scotland'. I'll try and get a photo in the next couple of days, but imagine the old logo with a new font.
