Clyde 1 are broadcasting a 2-hour retrospective on the occasion of their 50th birthday, with some good bits of archive and interviews with people who were involved over the years. So far, John MacKay and Dougie Donnelly have popped up.

They're billing it as 'the first 50 years' - which is a lot of confidence that the suits in Golden Square won't turn round next week and rebrand it as Hits Radio.

It's BRMB's 50th in February.

I wonder if the new station with that name will mark the occasion?
