After almost 50 years, Night Owls is finally coming to end on April 24th.

It really is the end of an era, but it has been limping on ever since it moved to GHR. Now all that’s left is a token breakfast show. It probably only has a few years left before deregulation finally removes the local requirements, which is very sad but inevitable.

That's a shame but seemed inevitable when it was bumped from Metro.

My sister called in a couple of months ago and got a text last week asking if she'd like to talk to Alan again, so they must have been struggling for callers (and listeners, presumably).
