Global now owns six more Capital stations as they have purchased Quidem Media:

I assume that the current regional drive from Kenilworth will soon be axed and replaced by the Birmingham programme.

Can't say I'm surprised by this news. Like Ghost, I expect the stations will be merged into the Midlands station by the end of the year with the only "local" content being news and travel updates.

EDIT: I have updated my personal Capital timeline in preparation for the inevitable handing out of P45s.

Not quite sure when it happened, but Capital Mid-Counties has quietly been merged into Capital Midlands.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, the presenters were let go in January this year.
