I'm not sure, however, taking over a despicable rag like The Mirror from a declining industry is the best way to exterminate left-wing opinion, as cityprod seems to imagine goes on.
2. I think you're confusing overall vision of conservatism as a whole, with the not insignificant impact that removing the Mirror's left wing bias would have in our country. There would be no left wing mass media in print. (I don't count the Morning Star as mass media as it's circulation is so much lower than other national newspapers.). Whilst there are other avenues for left wing opinion, none have the same reach or mainstream impact that the Mirror does.
