They're not big bang'ing them out to everyone, it'll just be customers who's Visa Debit cards are naturally expiring to begin with (plus possibly cards reported lost/stolen and new accounts).

I had to have mine changed in November due to fraud, so got one of the last standard issue Visa Debit cards, so I'm at the back of the queue again as it would have been renewed in April.

Or leave it as it makes no difference at all?

Indeed, who wants to mess about updating card details everywhere just to update the look of their debit card?

I've done it for a Nectar card update (more than once). But not for something that would cause quite a bit of disruption in the meantime.

You don't realise how many websites I had to go and change the card details on for my new card. There were still places I hadn't changed the details for that nearly cancelled subscriptions too and Amazon for some reason needs you to change it for Prime, Subscribe & Save and for standard purchases.

I'm in no rush for NatWest to change my card again.

When Yorkshire Bank rebranded to Virgin Money and sent everyone new cards, mine had the exact same details as the old one, except for the expiry date.

Changing network means the card number will have to change - Mastercard's numbers start with 5 and Visa starts with 4.

Some of the NatWest brands have put their new card artwork online:

Just had a letter from RBS saying they're closing their Fleet Street branch - the end for Child & Co?

I really should find a reason to go and visit before June, because it looks rather swanky inside.
