So due to various bits of decluttering, I've ended up with a full size keyboard. Now I've always wanted to learn piano but never had the patience when I was younger.
What I'm wondering is are there any good (pref free or cheap) apps or something that can help me learn? I note there are some fab ones for iPad but not equivalent for android which is frustrating.

I don't know, but I can tell you that contrary to Brenda Russell's advice: do not try and play the Piano In The Dark. It's unhelpful to the learning process.

What is your current level?
If you're an absolute 100% beginner I'd forgo apps and go down to your local music shop and get anything by Pauline Hall plus some exercise books like a Dozen A Day or Tunes For Ten Fingers. Aimed squarely at the child but hopefully should get your fingers moving. I suspect madmusician can also suggest some materials.
For my own part I gave up after 4 years of formal lessons at age 9 and a barely-passed Grade 1. I now play by ear and can't remember how to read music. Didn't really hold my music "career" back too much: I've played in 3 bands, in a church and for school assemblies. I now do it mainly for fun, although I'm more of a singer/songwriter nowadays.
