Lloyds Banking Group are closing 60 branches.
Some of these (especially the BoS ones) feel a bit like they'll be the only branch in town, if not the only bank in town - though as I said in the other thread, they know what their footfall is like.

They are keeping a more recent branch elsewhere in the town but they could have avoided controversy if they’d decided to keep the historic branch instead. Ironically the more modern branch would probably have no problem being re occupied but the historic branch will probably stand empty, unless Wetherspoons want to have 3 pubs in the town rather than just 2.
