From 16 May, Question Time with David Dimbleby will air on both TV and radio, during a show with Stephen Nolan and John Pienaar having a live radio debate on the topics addressed in the show.

I think the idea of a Question Time Extra type thing is a good one, and will be bolstered I assume by promotion from Dimbleby.

The thing is isn't there already a radio version of Question Time in the form of Any Questions? How long till that is also streamed on the red button, BBC Parliament or the News Channel?

Others changes include Tony Livesey being replaced by Phil Williams Monday to Wednesday.

I like the idea of this type of simulcasting, as it sort of reminds me when the National Lottery draws were aired on Radio 1 when I was little, I know it later moved to 5 Live but it's odd to think it ever fitted their output.

Anyone know when that stopped on 5 Live? Do they even give the numbers out now?

Indeed, it does seem strange with Radio 4 having Any Questions, and a phone in based on it, Any Answers already. Question Time is, in fact, a spin off from Any Questions.
