Is that different from the WHSmith Stationery brand?
Yeah, these were newsagents which took the full WHSmith fit out (if you can call it that). Staff all wore WHSmith uniforms (or were supposed to anyway) and everything.

The one I went to fairly often was also the Post Office in Rugeley. I presume that'll transition in to a full on branded Post Office (possibly taking the WHSmith Stationery range).

Mike Ashley is going to spend £95m on the Frasers building in Glasgow

I give the business two years, and within three the empty building will mysteriously go on fire.

The plan for WHSmith Local is that the brand will gradually disappear as contracts run out with each retailer.

Patisserie Valerie has been saved for now by a £20m cash injection.

This branch seems on the verge of collapse. Or have I missed the point of this thread??
I've been to that branch of B&M a few times. It was perhaps due a refurb.

Either that or someone was stubbing out their cigarettes on boxes of fireworks.

Claire's may be considering store closures in the UK after their US parent company filed for Chapter 11.

You'll need sewing pins, a hot stove and lots of kitchen roll.
