swearing!

I find that on the interweb and in real life people have a sewer mouths. I try not to swear in real life or on the web. I am not perfect and one or 2 expletives may pass my lips or keyboard occassionally. However on social network sites and forums aswell as in the street swearing seems to hve become the norm. I am in no way offended by bad language. but it seems to be becoming a regular part of the English language.
In my salon which is male dominated i have to remind some of the men to ease up as there are kids and mothers present. Mind you some 5 year olds use the 'F' word to their parents in my salon without being reprimanded ( except by me, if a kid was to tell me eff orf he'd be bleeding from his ear ;) ).
Am i old fashioned and this sewer language is becoming the norm?

The f word certainly is used in common parlance (I hear it on the train a lot), similarly sh*t is an acceptable exclamation it seems.

I'm guilty of using "wee feckin' bastard" when frustrated, although I'm not sure why. I also use bugger as a noun, and verb a lot. I also like the word bollocks.
