Anyone else noticed how pricey fish fingers are nowadays (other than the rank 'minced fish' ones)?

They're down from the peak price it seems - 30 Birds Eye Cod Fingers were up to about £8.60 at one point, I seem to recall.

Yes, even Sainsburys own brand ones were £7 for the same pack size.

I wonder if frozen food is disproportionately affected by energy price hikes, guess it'd make sense if so.

Sainsbury's have finally launched Nectar Prices without having to have the Nectar and SmartShop apps to access them this week. There's 300 products currently on offer and is competing with Clubcard Prices from Tesco.

My Nectar Prices will continue for app users.

Sainsbury's have also reduced the price of milk after Tesco also did the same this week as well. A 1 pint bottle is now 90p.

I'm amazed that anyone, except single person households who drink little milk, buy it by the pint any more.

As you say, a pint bottle is 90p, but a six pint bottle is £2.30, or less than 39p a pint.

If you collect additional Nectar points via the Daily Mail/Mail on Sunday. You are no longer guaranteed 5 points per newspaper, instead if you redeem the codes, you have to play a game where you either win points or nothing.

Yes, this cost of living crisis really has flushed out the hold outs from my magnificent milk club. It was always better value but it's now just absurd to buy a pint for £1 when £5 gets you three months of unlimited milk.
