My gut instinct is that they're too late now, it's unlikely their proposition is going to be ahead of Amazon's and with by the time they plan to launch the Kindle will have made it through 2 Christmases and already be in the hands of most of those who want such a device.

Nook is the name of the Barnes & Noble e-reader; the Waterstone's e-reader hasn't been named.
