Who would you invite as guests in your home and what would you cook.

I would invite Nick Harvey, Kate Moss,Moira Stewart & David Beckham.
I'd cook Crab cakes for starters, a lamb roast with all the trimmings for mains and a summerberry cheesecake for dessert.
The crab will be locally fished from sandgate on the morning so will be at least 4-8 hours old when served
The lamb will be locally farmed and slaughtered within a mile radius.
The eggs for the yorkshire pudd will be literally hours old, the pots and veg from garden dug up and washed the same day.
The cheesecake will be freshly bought from m&s that same morning.

Entertainment will be a tour round the Battle of britain museum ( just up the road from me) and a pub quiz/ karoke at the mayfly( my local pub )

Not quite a slowcooker thread ( sorry squareeyes) Who would you invite and what would you serve?

I would invite Anthony Hopkins, Kate Humble, Annie Lennox and Olly Murs.

We would dine outdoors on a warm summer's evening.

I'd cook the most amazing cod fillets in breadcrumbs, with chips, and a salad of lettuce, onion, tomatoes and radishes.

For pudding I would bake a lemon meringue pie.

The guy who won 50p on Deal or No Deal? Surprised someone else remembers him! I often wonder what happens to the contestants after they appear on the show, I bet he wishes he could enjoy that sort of fame again.
