Rob Brydon covered for and impersonated Bruce for the entire programme giving listeners a two and half our April Fool spoof.
I have to say though, if I didn't know it was Brydon, I probably would have been fooled....just.
When I saw reports of a Radio 2 April Fool I thought Terry Wogan had come back to do the breakfast show to say he'd taken back over to appease the Daily-Mail-massive ....
