Supermarket sushi

Without wanting to sound like a total snob, WTF with the current situation with supermaket sushi?
With the exception of ONE brand (Taiko sushi from Waitrose), all sushi from supermarkets is bloody disgusting. Tesco is particularly bad but Sainsbury's is not much better.

- 50% of the rolls contain cheap vegetables like slices of red/green pepper
- The tuna is invariably salty CANNED tuna rather than nice raw tuna as you would expect
- The salmon is invariably revolting smoked salmon rather than sashimi
- There is invariably a stack of cream cheese in the product to pad it out and conceal the cheap crap
- There is often not even any wasabi included and the soy sauce is dispensed as if it were a precious jewel
