BBC iPlayer Big screen version

I'm using this on my Sony BR player and the quality is superb, SD content is better subjectively than DTT. HD (720) is noticeable as non standard and micro judders are visible but viewable.
Does anyone know what codec format is being used by the BBC to deliver the iPlayer to Sony devices?
