Something to rest a keyboard and mouse on...

Okay, first of all, I have no idea how to word what I'm looking for so I'll explain it as best as I can.

Ever since I got an iMac, I've had my PC hooked up to my TV to, more or less, give it a place to live. I intended to use it as a media centre but I eventually gave up on it because the media remote was clashing with my Xbox. After using Windows on Boot Camp for a while, I've come to the conclusion that it's too bloody awkward, so my aim now is to contain anything Windows to my PC.

However, the room currently consists of a lounge chair, my TV and the stand with the PC next to it. Nothing inbetween. I can easily use my keyboard on my lap but when it comes to using a mouse, I'm a little buggered as I have nothing to place it on. Baring in mind I can't use trackpads for conventional use and I can't stand trackballs altogether, I've been trying to look for some kind of tray or board that I can place over my lap or the arms of the chair, or some kind of foldable desk that can tuck to the side of the chair.

The only issue is that I have no idea what to search for in Google, as I'm not even sure something like this exists. The closest I've come to finding it is 'keyboard trays' which gives me what I'm after, but it's either designed for desks with pull-out keyboard things or to be mounted on to god knows what, and the latter costs hundreds of pounds.

If anybody can make sense of what I'm looking for, could you help me in trying to find whatever this possibly-imaginery accessory might be?

Many thanks :)

They're generally called "TV Tables" - as in, a table to put things on as you sit and watch TV.

I use a little Ikea dealy (two, side by side, actually), but you could have a smaller one to the side of your lounge chair.

This type of thing:

Sorry I should have read more thoroughly.

I get what you mean now.

Ikea (again) have swing-round trays for keyboard/mouse/dinnerplate built into the arms of some of their sofas. They might do something as a separate - but in all honesty a little fold up TV table is the cheapest and most effective.

Try here.
