those of you lucky enough to have access to a calendar could not possibly fail to have realised that today is the only day of the year in which christians are permitted to eat pancakes.

so, are you going to be making your own or will you be buying them pre-made? i swung into morrisons on the way home from work. by the way, those are real lemons, not one of those squeezy rubber ones... i'm not totally lazy!

I keep passing large POS display merchandisers for Betty Crocker's pancake mix.

Its like a half filled jug with a pre-mixed powder batter. Just add water and shake.

I've noticed it almost only men who are looking at it though.

I actually had some pancakes tonight made from that very mix. Not too shabby, although still not quite as nice as home-made ones.
