Are they coming back? I really rather hope not but I saw one as part of a combo in river island today.

I've noticed someone wearing one

I also hope they don't return.

Hmmmm, so I wonder if that's the BBC wardrobe dept being clever in anticipating forthcoming fashions, or whether River Island are trying to anticipate the likely impact of a popular tv show...

The Doctor is supposed to look odd, not like a flipping aspirational figure. I hate bow ties. They look flipping stupid in any context.

I live over the road from a "vintage" clothes shop, and they are selling various coloured bow-ties for three quid - or skinny leatherette ties for the same price.

Or, if you've more cash to splash, you could buy remaindered C&A silk shirts from the 1980s for £20.

I must know the location of this shop.
Years, I've lived a stone's throw away from York, how do I not know about this place?!
