Savoury supper snacks

now the nights are getting colder and darker i find myself fancying a savory snack at about 9pm.

i'm looking for some inventive quick and easy ideas to increase my supper repertoire.

my suppers are normally either: crackers and cheese, a handful (read: packet) of bombay mix, cheese on toast, hot chocolate (not savory i know, but sometimes it's really nice made the proper way with milk) or breakfast cereal.

do you find you need something tasty to nibble on in the evening, and if so, what?

At around nine, I like a second glass of Cotes du Rhone and a handful (wink) of low fat cream cheese and chive Pringles.

Oval bloody tine?

I've not reached the age for oval bloody tine yet and I'm probably five or six years older than you are.

Not to mention the questionable savouryness of oval bloody tine.

I have trouble sleeping - Ovaltine mixed with some herbal tablets from Holland & Barrett and an episode of Hancock's Half Hour sends me right off.

Get rid of the pips and the watery bit from the tomato - put the rest in a food processor type thing and you have a rough paste to spread on the cracker. mummmm nice!

*applauds*

I'm the same, although I'm trying to have more dried fruit as well. If only you could have Graze boxes delivered in the evenings.
