Evening all,

I've just got a new computer for work, and I've added my personal email to outlook.

I also have the pop settings on my phone, which checks for new email every five mins.

The problem is that once an email is downloaded to outlook it isn't downloaded to my phone, and vice versa.

Yes, this is a problem for me.

I've got it set to leave messages on server, but this doesn't help.

Does anyone know a way around this?

Try changing to imap mail instead of pop3.

This appears to have solved the problem.

I've always been scared of imap for some reason.
