The line up has been revealed today. 34,265 performances of 2,098 shows in 265 venues.

For some reason the Beeb are running Denise van Outen's appearance as a "headline" - in some Jackie Clune penned music piece about blondes. Other names mentioned are Clive James, Julian Clary, Christopher Biggins and cricketing legend Henry Blofeld.

Who? Sorry, I meant woo.

The full show list is up at http://www.edfringe.com/

Anything you fancy seeing?

There's a small possibility I might get over this year. I will of course let you know Mr Scott!

Yay! I would like that very much.

Naturally I'll be popping along to see Mr Hall's production. There's a teeny possibility that I'll be doing something, but the director is up to his, er, armpits doing a show called "Cock and Bull Story" this week, and he changes his plans a lot.

So we'll see.

Two friends of mine, Andy Naylor and Lee Gant, are playing Edinburgh again this year - go along and enjoy it; the show is superb. There's two preview events if you can't make it to Scotland; one in London and one in Barry. They were on R&J earlier this year with Cannon and Ball. It's good stuff.

Anyone interested PM me. Not that I'm their publicist or anything, I just want to give my mates a shout out.

Yup. That's the Gavin & Stacey effect.

On the other hand it may have something to do with Andy being from nearby Penarth ;)
