It occured to me, looking at the create your own james martin picture, that there have been so many fabulous things posted to our forums over the last 8 years but there is a distinct lack of archive.

So, to help give the new upload service a run for its money we thought it would be FAB to upload all that shite you have lying around on your computer from years ago.

Like these,
http://up.metropol247.co.uk/Hymagumba/owennc2.jpg
http://up.metropol247.co.uk/Hymagumba/DSC00128.JPG

So what else can you find? What about South Yorkshire Caravans, Owen Thomas Camping it Up, Identz, Popular Tyne Tees Music Show The Roxy, I can't get over the sheer size of it, Scott is *not* impressed, Jaron She Wrote, Asa on Liquid News with chav hair, Beep Chubby on Midlands Today with dirty shoes and of course
Absolute Aldritt?

So the basics are, upload things, and most importantly,

TAG THEM with the words JAN and ARCHIVE

as well as anything else you think is useful. It might not do anything else but come version 2.0 we'll be able to collate this data and make fab pages of archive guff.

So go forth, and upload gems from the history of TVF and Metro.

Oh and not forgetting, whomever uploads the fabbest thing (as chosen by myself, gav, ison and sput at some point in the future) wins their username in the colour of their choice for a month. It's a crap prize, but there's a recession on and we have no budget, so tough titties.

Sadly I deleted it, but seeing Grindon present the weather before closing down BBC1 for overnight again would be mindblowing.

Oh wow, I made that Owen Thomas thing, how exciting that you still had it Hymababy.

I've gone through 2 computers since those days, so I have nothing of particular fabness remaining. Might try booting up my old one to see if there's anything on it.

From what I've found (and this is a bit like Chinese Whispers - as the stuff gets passed on there's much less of the original stuff):

I've lost my Stephen Cole song :( - maybe that's a good thing?

I have noticed this thread, folks.

I think I might have quite a lot of stuff.

I'll be back when not quite so busy.

Asa on Liquid News

Goodness knows why I've still got it, but I've stuff from the past 11 years deep in the depths of the hard drives.

In both occasions, yeah. Iirc the first was a conversation between Grindon and James which he knew was being recorded, and the second is a fake.

Well I've decided to pull my finger out and have a look in the dragon archive for this one -- these are the ones from the past that immediately made me smile [that may just be me though] :

I also found an 11 page pdf apology from Jaron Brass, but that didn't make me smile so.
