As you do.
Hope he had a pre-nup drafted before this donation.

Funny how a white US Doctor values his own kidney at $1,500,000, when they tend to pay Mexicans about $90 a lb for their organs.
He stayed married to her for years after the operation, so you'd at least think depreciation would be factored in...

But you would counter that with the wear and tear imposed on said organ, especially if the woman was a heavy drinker... it might not be in a fit state to be returned so would need a brand new replacement.

Wouldn't the mature thing to do in this situation be to split it?

Unfortunately for this guy, the law effectively stipulates that his organ has no value. He can't claim compensation for it. But on a more general note, I find the ban on selling organs kind of curious. I understand the principle - we don't want poor people hacking off parts of their body and trading them in at pawn shops - but the implication is that you don't actually own your own body. So, in fact, when people say things like "it's my body" or "it's my life, I can do what I want", they might not be entirely correct...

God, apparently - direct any complaints to Nick Harvey's inbox.

If we're created in God's image, why do I not look like Nick?

If a 15 year old Nottinghamshire boy looked like the Grand Wizard Harvey, I'd be worried.
