Forum murder

Although this story shocked me, I was not surprised an event of this kind has happened.
Most of us enjoy using forums. They inform, educate, titilate, and add a bit more colour to our lives. But the vast majority of us do not let forums and the blue-yonder consume our lives.
We are lucky to live in a country where the internet is, by large, liberated and free of serious restriction. Will occurances like these lead to more monitoring of peoples internet activity?
I'm sure we have all been pissed off with other members, whom we have never even met in real life, but I don't believe any of us are unbalanced enough to track down and kill an antaginator...
