Windows Help and Support

Have you ever used "Windows Help and Support"? I frequently hit F1 by accident while focussed on a Windows Explorer window which loads Vista's infuriating Help nonsense, and it's just occurred to me I've never used it. I'm not sure if that's just because it's never been any use to me EVER in Windows 95/98 where I did on occasion naively venture into the Help feature, or the useless troubleshooters it came wtih. I'm not sure I know anyone else who's used either. Have you ever used it and was it helpful?

On a related note, whatever happened to that Guided Help thing that Vista had to offer? I had all but forgotten about it until I installed the Search Commands extension for MS Office 2007 (which is wonderful by the way), which displayed guided help commands in Word that I never knew existed. It seems to work incredibly well yet I can't see it anywhere in Vista's (or Office 2k7's regular) help.

I've never heard it called that before. Doesn't that make it 'Office 20,007' ? Are you getting ahead of yourself with your beta versions, cdd?

You're wrong, Plymouth, but so are you cdd, 2k7 would be 2700, which I'm sure will be a fantastic version of MS Office.

Oh, sorry. I just copied it from the "Complete Regulations And Paraphasationsilation" by T.Towers, 3rd Ed. Its own initials are a good indication of the books contents.

Bail, could you lend me Volume 23 of that book? I need to check what the correct shorthand for semi-skimmed milk is.

Semi Skimmed (SF:D:M:ss) is actually the SECTION title. There are hundreds of combinations of types of semiskimmed milk, like organic, which farm, which shop it's from...
