Doggy names.

Mr H has said yay to me having a puppy. I will be getting a Jack Russell puppy soonish. All i need now is a good name.
I have a goldfish called fluffy a cat called Mouse. I was thinking maybe Kitty or Rosco for a doggy.
I'd like your ideas for a good doggy name as you lot are more mental than me. Jack, Jackie and Russell are no no's as that is so unoriginal for a Jack Russell.

Seeing as Jack Russell's can be annoying yappy things that won't shake off however much you try to kick them away, I can think of a few forum members usernames which would fit the bill perfectly
Of course being still a newbie and not sure who has the biggest conkers, I dare not name them

You'll be wanting something gender neutral, won't you? Keeping with the nice naming convention you've got going, I'd suggest Whiskers as it's near enough not what you'd call a Jack Russell. That or Nini... wink.
It won't be called chubby or beep unless it ends up being the genuinely most irritating little thing ever to nip your heels.

My missus and I have an affectionate set of nicknames for each other - worm, termite to name but two... but we usually call each other Buggerlugs (or bug for short.)
On the other hand, why not go with something a bit more exotic, like Macavity or Horatio.

The over-riding thing to remember is that you take dogs out to public places, where they will, eventually, slip their lead and run away.
You, therefore, need a name which you can shout out loudly in the middle of said public place, without too much embarrasment to yourself.
