I appear to have 7797 points on my card at the moment, having never redeemed any of them.

Guess that makes me the winner (and biggest show off) so far, at £38 now, but £39 in only another 3 points time.

I have 2000 and something. Debenhams have stopped accepting them though.

Incidentally, as lovely as the skin is here, I need to point out that the the Nectar card featured above is out of date. The new cards are a much sexier affair with a different shaped nectar blob.

Although you can only spend them in vouchers of £2.50, so technically you only have £37.50 on your card, and won't have the next voucher until you have 8000 points.

Doesn't seem much point in me signing up for such a card if the participating companies are leaving.

Sainsbury's is 5 minutes away from me as the crow flies, but 15 minutes away on foot. They do seem mad keen on me to take one of the blessed things.

Think I'll stick with Scotmid.

Am I the only one here NEVER to have owned a Tesco Clubcard? The missus has one, and she gladly accepts points on my half of our occasional shops, but always takes her OWN Nectar points even though I have a Nectar card.

So if I got stuck behind you and Mrs Lex I would be waiting while you faff with up to three cards for one sale?

Move along. My Flake Cornettos are melting.

Ah, thanks for that.

I knew there was some funny rule like that, but, never having tried to redeem any points, didn't know exactly what it was.

I shall, therefore, wait till I'm over 8000.

I know Viking Direct give points for all sorts of office products, from the paper in my printer to the chair I'm sitting on.

I haven't shopped in Sainsburys in years. I used the last lot of points i saved on my xmas 2005 shopping bill about 70 -80 quids worth. I now shop around for my groceries. There are some fab farmshops for veggies and i use the butchers in town. I'm a slave to tesco, boots, Lidl and Netto for other stuff. Oh and my village shop stocks the bestest freshest bread, pasties and donuts.
