I would like to ask the wide opinion of this broad, about what kind of new phones are good?

I have song ericsion W800I and had it for about 2 years now,

There nothing I see that look great, and the only I can see that might be alright is the song ericsion W910 and to Nokia 95, the rest I see are just well crap

How do we know what model of mobile phone you're talking about? For all I know you could have typed any one of those model numbers incorrectly.

Wait for the Nokia N96, 16GB storage, 5MP camera, the dogs danglies. I have an iPhone, and love it, but it's frustrating as hell sometimes.

I'm a big fan of Nokia - I've had a few of their phones now, and I've always found them a delight to use. They sort of lost their way for a while - they got a bit complacent - but they're really back in business now.

I have the 6300... in the words of Jeremy Clarkson "That's not a [phone], that's just pornography." For the money, for a heavy texter / WAPper / light talker like me, it's phenomenal. Admittedly it's not the easiest phone to use as a phone (it feels like i'm holding a thin iron bar to my head) but for £70 on O2 PAYG with a £7.50 Web bolt on, it's supreme.

I rather like Windows Mobile devices, currently I use the HTCTytn II, the key advantages for it for me are seamless connection with ms exchange and push e-mail. Also I find being able to Remote Desktop my PC invaluable. The other thing I find useful is that I am able to use the phone as a modem and connect to the internet through it. As I've commented in another thread, though, its built in Internet browser (some bastardized version of IE4) leaves a lot to be desired.

The 6300 is pure class, an absolute joy to use..I haven't had a single problem with it. Contrast that with my old Sony Ericsson, which went into a fit on a weekly basis.

It was also quite cheap, about $200 as part of a deal with Vodafone. How much that costs in 'real money' for you I don't know.

Is it just me or does it get marked so easily though, the metallic sheen on the back has gone from dull (as it should be) to scratched shiny in some parts. And the screen is a haven for my finger prints. I swear somebody could steal my entire identity just by sticking some sellotape down to take the prints off.

A trouser leg usually sorts out the fingerprints for me. Now I look at it there are quite a few scratches, but they're not too bad. The plastic seems to be bearing up surprisingly well.

The only complaint I really have is that it took me a while to figure out how to get the back cover off.

I've got the 910i, which Orange gave me for free after I bickered with them for half an hour.

It's a stunning phone, I adore it. It's so easy to use after I had to suffer a year and a half of the Samsung E900, a ghastly touch screen mess which just made every single operation needlessly complex.

The camera is average although the phone is based more around the walkman, which is very pleasant and the little thing where the buttons change to orange when you play music is just adorable. Internet is great, I'm convinced it uses 3G for internet as its so snappy, and the browser is very nice. I'm very happy with it, I've never owned a better phone.
