Free Microsoft dev tools for students

This may be the sort of thing that's only of interest to a few, but if you're a student in the UK, you can now download various dev tools for free, including VS 2008/2005, Windows Server, Expression Studio, XNA etc. at https://downloads.channel8.msdn.com/Default.aspx

Even if I'm the only one left positively giddy by this, there might be some crossover interest in some of the Expression shtuff...if it's actually any good and not just the usual run-of-the-mill attempt at the raster/vector dealey.

w00t, etc.

I use expression web for doing all web pages, and have tried out the other expression programs but don't like them as much.

Expression web is basically FrontPage's replacement, but it's hardly frontpage any more, it's written with the focus on Styles instead and is very standards compliant. I find it a very easy yet powerful interface, compared to dreamweaver which I used to use, which feels outdated.

EDIT:
YAY! How neat. I managed to register and verify myself as a student in about 30 secs.

Why Manchester, Oxford and Cambridge of course! Oh, and St. Andrews since they get CAPES.

Capes are great.

Edinburgh University has been around since 1582. Not that I attended, but I do a lot of students each year.

Its an education.
