It's been a while since anyone posted their desktop, infact the last one was in 2007. :ugeek:

So rather than digging up a thread that is quite frankly too long I am starting a new one.

I know that the thread already exists but a lot of us have changed since 2007 (in desktop terms) so here's a fresh start.

Hardly new, though?

That's Bliss, isn't it? Or Tellytubby Hill as 'er indoors calls it.

Not very original.

Might I suggest a wander round here for some inspiration?

Ah, the obligatory Messenger shot at the forefront of all other windows, how very James Martin-esque.
As has been pointed out before, Interface has a lovely selection of diverse high quality wallpapers.

MOD EDIT: My anti virus made a squealing noise on that site as apparently one of the SWF banner ads contains a Trojan. If you have a good anti virus and still wish to visit the URL is http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/

Noel edit: Interesting, never had that before, my apologies. Must be Adblock/NoScript etc suppressing it in Firefox. Ho-hum.

Well, sorry if you don't like default desktops. It's only my first post!
