Thanks it was V nice. Was out on Wednesday night seeing my pal play in a band. Slept much of yesterday evening away, complete with hangover, after an elephant-sized portion of pasta, and and am going out tonight.

Slightly gratified to note that other mates don't have the staying power to do 2 nights out a week, and many of them are a decade younger.

Go me! (with a zimmer, obviously)

If I was to get you a prezzie Gav, I think it would have to be a bottle of your favourite liquor. You seem like a man who likes his drink, and I'm only happy to oblige!

Do I give that impression? I probably do.

In actuality I'm much more inclined to enjoy uppers than downers, but if I admit to that then people won't stop banging on about it.

Anyhoo, I'm clearing my desk down to leave shortly. Must just powder my nose.
