Weird Tree

I was driving through a village not far from where I am now on 18 December and spotted this tree...
It's still in full leaf and looks very out of place in the winter countryside. I noticed it as soon as I drove past and stopped to take a quick photo. Really weird. Does anyone know what tree this is?
The leaves were proper leaves like you get during the summer months.

Hard to tell from the distance the photo is taken but it looks like a Eucalyptus, they're evergreen.

Certainly looks like a eucalyptus, marksi, but, as you say, difficult at that distance.

No, I haven't. I was a feral child until 1989 when I was taken from my rusting and isolated caravan in the woods and made to spend the next 18 years living in a padded cell. They slid a laptop through the food hatch back in 2000 and soon after a microphone was dropped in and they started putting whatever I said on the radio.
I've not been as fortunate as you, Stuart.

Why are you having a go at me?
I've usually always given you the benefit of the doubt on this forum and stayed out of the flame wars which you continually provoke.
You've obviously forgotten that not everyone on this forum hated you. But you've demonstrated that in fact you are a cunt of the highest order, with a masters degree in cuntism from the university of cuntshire.

Get back in your box Sput. You're not half as witty as you seem to have convinced yourself you are.
