It goes nicely with my delightful battery (thats rechargeable batteries, i'm minding my carbon footprint) powered LED lights I've stuck over the windows

Just to give some idea of scale, because it's a tiddler...

Tree by Asda. Baubles and tinsel by Poundland. Lights: model's own. Total cost under £6.

And yes, I'm that sad that I really have put presents underneath it already.

the seniors here at fort Rowlands like to decorate the whole house with all sorts of ornaments we've picked up over the years. I'll post pictures once we've finished putting them all up!

The whole lot, including lights, cost a grand total of approx £6. All decorations and tree from Wilko.

Well i was all set to put up tree yesterday then 'im indoors came home with a new plasma tv so we now have to rearrange the living room before any decs can go up. The tv was our xmas pressie to each other. The boiler has now decided to die on us, this christmas is turning into a bigger headache than usual.

I'd be happy if Christmas came once every leap year.

lol. I think it may be the giant star at the top of the tree which may be making it look a bit thin. I had to fold the top of the tree over a couple of times to stop it falling off.

A smaller star, and it might look a bit healthier! :)
