Do you reckon he bumped off Jill Dando or not?

Reading this, he certainly sounds like a first class fruitcake who fits the profile of someone who'd do a thing like that. Obsessed with celebrities, obsessed with the BBC, once applied to join a gun club, arrested for breaking into Kensington Palace with a balaclava and knife, had more than a year after the Dando murder to dispose of any evidence, etc.

BUT... there just isn't enough compelling evidence to link him with the murder. And I believe it's better for a guilty man to walk free than for an innocent man to go down.

If he gets freed by the appeal court, it once again raises the question of who committed this baffling crime, and why. I still remember the sense of shock and disbelief when her death was announced on the radio at work, and will never forget the Radio 1 Newsbeat presenter's very unfortunate gaffe in the heat of the moment... "Jan Dildo... er... Jill Dando"

Do Heat generally cover the likes of Huw Edwards then?

Doesn't he rank a sort of C-list type that they go after?

I think he might be, though I don't read Heat very often. I prefer back issues of Smash Hits.

I think Barry George is an excellent darts commentator, although the bling is a bit dazzling.
