I seem to be in the middle of my all time record for illness so far, as I haven't had any sort of cold or headache since March. Woo, go me.

My cold's been and gone. It's the rest of my life's that's making me feel shit.

It's my hand down the toilet that's got me feeling shit.

But I'm proud not to be at risk from animal to human transmision (the sexual variety) of Foot & Mouth

I always have a cold actually around or on Christmas. Ruins it. That and Tumble Tower.

I take a week off work to have some time to do things...and I get some sort of lurgi.

I had an horrendous headache yesterday and was sick (through my nose). I feel a bit better today, but not great. Of course, I'll be in perfect health come next Monday.

There's nothing quite like the lingering smell of vomity brown slop which was once Cheerios and a mug of tea, that's for sure.

Quite honestly yesterday I think I felt about as low as I have in years. Not sickness, just depressed. Really unhappy. I went home and made enough dinner for two nights and ate the lot. Felt sick.
That's what I do when I get down. Eat too much. Thought it would make me feel better but really it's a form of self flagellation.
I called my friend Steve. He'd had a terrible day as well and he was doing something similar with a 6 pack of beer.
Sensibly he should have come round and we could both have had dinner and a couple of drinks.
I would have given my right gooly for a cuddle from him but instead we spoke on the phone until we laughed.
Thank goodness for friends.
