Problem With Full Stops

As somebody who makes a note of people's styles, I'm becoming increasingly worried by the current full stop problem.
We have a fairly recent new member who has a full stop at the end of their name.
We also have quite a few recent threads with full stops at the end of their titles.
However, the threads with the full stops do not appear to have been started by the member with the full stop at the end of their name.
Methinks there is something fishy afoot and my nose detects the odour of rat.
I think we should be told.

It's certainly an irritating style, but - to my mind at least - not as irritating as the Sudden and Random capitalisation Of Words for No apparent Reason. That particular Poster Makes me Want to scream.

I don't find the full stops particularly irritating, just particularly interesting.
As for random capitalisation, don't worry about it; just think of it as the occasional character being in the wrong aspect ratio.

Hellfire is the one to blame for the gramatical errors in the thread titles. Methinks she should go back to school - if only to see her in the uniform.
Umm... yeah, so. Full stops eh, Nick? Are you going to document this pet hate in September's comment?
My grammar is usually okay. There are times when I type stuff out so quickly and hit 'Submit', it makes it difficult for the 'dear reader' to follow. Perhaps I should actually read back what I've typed more often.

It could be the Irish knock-knock joke.
Tell you what; you start.

You remind me of a man.
What man?
The man with the power.
What power?
The power of Hoodoo.
Hoodoo?
You do!
What?
Remind me of a man.
What man?
The man with the power.
Etc, etc.
