Cannabis and Alcohol

Now in the media last week there was all that talk about cannabis being very harmful, and that a form of it, skunk was even deadlier. The thing that bugs me is, alcohol is probably the worst drug out there, and thats legal yet you hardly see people calling for that to be banned.

I tried smoking cannabis once, and i think that will be the last time. I like to have a drink with friends, but i dont understand why people have to drink everyday, or have a bottle of wine at night - why not have a cup of tea? Basically what im trying to ask is cannabis and alcohol, have you tried and which do you think has more of an affect on society?

But from what you've seen or heard, should people be tackling alcohol more then cannabis?

I agree Sput. Earl Grey tastes like perfumed dishwater.

At work a few weeks ago we ran out of the the normal tea bags, and had even used up the supply of "de-caff bags" so the new agency guy decided to use the Earl Grey instead of the stinky fruit flavoured ones which were the only other ones available.

My colleague Naomi's face was a picture as she took her first (and only) mouthful. You'd think we'd made her swallow a mug full of angry bees. Needless to say the large (well it was then) plant in the corner got the rest of the contents of her mug, rapidly followed by the mugs from the rest of the office.

Said agency guy was quickly dispatched to the shop in Derriford Hospital to purchase some "proper" tea bags and sheepishly remade the round of cuppas in double-quick time. Office admin have since arranged for a regular supply of proper tea bags (and a secret hidden reserve is kept in case of ordering errors). The earl grey has been banished to the top shelf, far above the replacement toner for the photocopier - and will only be used in future by those specifically willing to endure the punishment of the taste!

Been quaffing wine ( not too happy about this plastic bottle business) and puffing on the odd joint or 10, for years now. Nothing wrong with my mental health.

That Earl grey stuff is wretched. There are only 2 types of Tea for me. Green or PG.

Right I am sick of this blasphemy. Earl Gray is the best tea ever, especially when mixed with two sugars and lots and lots of milk. Anyone who doesn't like it needs prompt referral to Hanson's Guide to Etiquette. If God drank tea, I bet you he'd drink Earl Gray.

I thought Lorna was busy dealing with him with an AK47.

Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

As well as a normal cuppa, I like green or white tea. I loathe fruit teas - they are revolting and taste like soap. And I don't like Earl Grey, either. Funnily enough, my mum also describes the stuff as perfumed dishwater.

Yeah, not that keen on Earl Grey myself. My parenmts were obsessed with making tea the proper way (teapot and loose tea leaves) so no tea bags were ever used. There were always a number of different teas in the house. Couldn't stanmd the smoked ones either, like Lapsang Souchong.
