... Has anyone used this for a website? Is it any good. It's the only popular CMS I haven't tried yet. You could post a link to a WSB based site.

How about TVLive? It's good for simple stuff, but's it's also good for complete customisation, as you can edit all the code.

In my day, we wrote our own with flat files and perl.

Or back in my day (1998/1999) I went with
Frontpage Express.
The original 'identz' website was made entirely in FPE and
Micrografx Windows Draw 6. Ahh, good old days.

I myself prefer to do all coding myself - much better, you know where everything is, and it's interesting to do. Oh dear, I sound a little sad.

I've always kept a safe physical distance between myself and people who write computer code. Especially nowadays when there are a multitude of applications which can do it for you!
I find having to type [url=whatever]link title[url] tedious and boring. I think I'd smash my own face in if I had to write hundreds of lines of the stuf!! Bear in mind I haven't got a clue what W3C is - even though I see those boastful and geeky little boxes everywhere!

Perhaps not a good moment to mention writing in machine code and then hammering one's own rivets into the plugboard, then?

Frontpage 2003 rocks MY world.
I won't tell you what I use for graphics, else I get hung by my bollocks by rusty wire.

Yep, TVLive is powered by Website Baker, and I think it's fantastic. There's so much stuff you can do with it, and it's easy to operate.

Nick, I propose we go and give Jamez a big hello hug. That wouldn't be a safe distance, would it!

This was my favourite:
10 PRINT "hello"
20 GO TO 10
You knew where you were with BASIC...
