This weekend for anyone in or anywhere near Milton Keynes. The follow up to MUSIC4U a couple of weeks ago. It will be in campbell park. Google it for the official site. Who lives near? Six.Point.Five are playing!

Gav are you taking revenue for advertising threads now?

I am not advertising anything. I have nothing to do with this event. I simply live near it and am supporting my city in it's 40th year. I know there are people from Milton Keynes on metropol!

Don't know.

I was just harking back to nineteen eighties CB slang.

It was always Doughnut City because it had one or two roundabouts.

Yes thanks, I tend to do the roundabouts of Swindon on an almost weekly basis.

I love Mrs Nag on the Tom Tom through the Magic Roundabout. "At the roundabout, take the second exit, then take the first exit, then take the first exit, then take the third exit, then take the first exit, then take the second exit, then take the first exit, then take the third exit."

yes indeed, I wouldn't rely on the SatNav through the intrecacies of the MR in Swindon. Although it's rather a small affair considering its noteriety (as with Spaghetti Junction - which I always managed with ease).

Considering the prevalence of mini-roundabouts near me, I will be soon meeting a "Magic Roundabout" in Plymouth when I get my licence back!

I've never had any trouble with Spaghetti Junction.

Used to use it every Saturday in the old days, having come up the M5, round onto the M6, then needed to go down the Aston Distressway to come off for BRMB.

They had something within the "city" centre of Milton Keynes the other week and that was a bit of damp squid. Even though we don't have city status, I like the fact they get round it by calling it the "New City"

Milton Keynes does have it charms, where else in the UK can you nick an existing football team and place it elsewhere. The first match to be held at the stadium at Denbigh (Nick's little haunt going by what was on his website) which is the Alan Ball Memorial Cup will also be televised on Sky Two.

The other charm about Milton Keynes is the lack of traffic jams, with exception of the rush hour periods between 8.30-9am and 5-5.30pm. I can freely move around the "city" without too much fuss.
