What is it with chips from a chinese takeaway? Why can they never get them crispy. They are always soggy when they arrive. Everything else on the menu is delicious though.

Chips aren't meant to be crispy, if they are they are overcooked.

The chippy down the road from my place specialises in green chips covered in salt and vinegar that I never even order.

Chips are meant to be crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Not limp, soggy and dripping with oil. YUK!
