No-one could have predicted the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997, nor could we have predicted two hijacked airliners slamming into the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon in 2001.

What predictions of news events, if any, do you have?

Great Uncle Nostradamus, if I've spelled him right, can be credited with predicting most things, or not predicting them, dependant on exactly how you read him.

A debate on how much of his stuff is correct, or otherwise, could go on for many, many pages.

If you read him in a particular way, the world should have ended about three times by now.

Anyway, I'LL decide when the world's going to end, and if you're good, I'll give you five or ten minutes notice.

Fifteen in Jamez' case, as I've heard he likes a long, slow shag!

You've been longing for a chance to say that ever since I was right about James Martin!

I didn't realise we could type his name! Is a certain Mr SL from Bideford still in the TVF swear filter?

I think so.

I'm just waiting for BBC World to introduce a newsreading pairing of Simon Smith and Bert Luxton.

I'll take a pound to a pinch of doggie-doo that the swear filter would get removed in seconds if that ever happened.

Would it happen if ITV News introduced that pairing, or does that whole BBC shagging still go on there?

Actually, to be honest, with a name that could be abbreviated to such an extreme, it was inevitable she was going to die at some point in the next few thousand years anyway. Oooh, a cheque from the Daily Express has just arrived.

I predict that some time this year something's going to happen that's going to affect some people in some way. And if I'm right I want a sticky bun from all of you as a reward.
Your post just affected me in some way. There's something sticky ready and waiting for you nignoG.
